Konstancin-Jeziorna is a unique place where history is combined with modernity. Location near Warsaw, specific micro climate and unique resort-like architecture from interwar period make it a favourite holiday destination for many capital residents. Konstancin Spa Park located in the middle of the spa part, seems to be the main attraction here since it is the only one in Mazovia. Main avenue of the park connects arterial road with graduation tower. This huge inhalatory is powered by saline extracted from the depth of 1600 m and pumped up into the height of 6 m. Saline is sprayed, passing through blackthorn base of the graduation tower. This manner of dosing minerals and trace elements makes them possible to absorb by the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract and skin, what beneficially affects the immune system.
During your stay in Konstancin you can choose to walk along the historic trail of old residencies. You may start your stroll from the Sienkiewicza street, at the end of which there is a neo-gothic water tower. Tired of sightseeing you can relax in one of the charming cafes in the old paper manufacture.
Konstancin is also surrounded by picturesque forest complex, and in the north borders with the Kabacki Forest. Hiking and biking fans can choose among several picturesque trails - altogether tens of kilometres of trails. Furthermore, the active recreation enthusiasts can take part in canoeing on Jeziorka river. You won't lack monuments here, both religious buildings and palaces, including the Manor in Obory from the 17th century are worth of seeing.
Konstancin Jeziorna is situated at the distance of 18 km from Warsaw.
