The right-bank area of tributaries in the middle run of Narew river is known for its beautiful forests and attachment of the local people to the culture of their ancestors. Ancient customs and rituals are definitely worth of mentioning as the visible manifestation of the local tradition - especially family and wedding customs. These can be seen in Kadzidło during one of the most famous and popular folklore events, known not only in the region of Kurpie and Green Forest, but all over Mazovia. The event takes place regularly since 1994, and it gives an opportunity to watch a very old form of the wedding ceremony, kind of procession archaic dances, songs so called 'forest songs', an  extraordinary dance-play "chase around the table". During the event there are folk art and gastronomic fairs open, when in the evening folk music concerts take place. Thus there is nothing but to come and visit Kurpian farm in Kadzidło on the third Sunday in June and in some way to become a wedding guest.
 
One of the Narew right tributaries is Omulew, passing through areas covered by a program "Natura 2000". Canoeing on strongly meandering river Omulew with the habitat of rare species of water birds became extremely popular. Throughout its course the river is decently marked, and in its vicinity you can find numerous cultural monuments of Kurpie, monuments of nature, and traditional farmhouses.
