Around in the middle between Warsaw and Torun, charming, spacious heritage park is located. It stretches over the area of 60 hectares in the town of Sierpc. You can see ten peasant stockyards of north-western part of Mazovia, an 18th-century original tavern complex including forge and blacksmith's cottage, the reconstructed building of the manor with natural landscape park, 17th-century chapel, a church with belfry - more than 80 large and small objects of folk architecture in total. The interiors of buildings are fully furnished and change their appearance depending on the seasons of the year. Surrounded both by vegetable plots, flower beds and orchards, cottages and animals that live here seem like a part of authentic village. Visiting the museum, you can not miss permanent exhibitions: folk and antique sculptures, horse-drawn behicle and travel accessories. The charm of this place is emphasized by seasonal outdoor events presenting ceremonies and traditional activities of local people. It pays to visit the museum on Sundays to take a stroll, listen to folk music and take a closer look at the work of rural craftsmen or landlords bustling around. On a weekday, you can breathe with fresh air or explore interesting exhibitions to acquaint with the regional folk culture. On the first Sunday of July Honey Harvest takes place - an event popularizing the healing properties of honey as well as exposing beekeepers' work, their customs and rituals.

Sierpc gives you also an opportunity to explore a classical town hall and temporary exhibitions presented here. Finally, you may visit nearby  Bieżuń and the Museum of Small Town to see the unique interiors of small-town doctor's place.
